For teams hiring engineers

Your engineers keep building. We run the interviews.

Vira phone-screens every applicant. A coding round shows how they work in real code. A senior engineer runs the final round. Only the best reach your team, and you make the call.

The problem

First rounds eat the week.
And still miss good people.

  • Afternoons lost to first calls

Senior engineers spend hours on first rounds that a short screen could have settled.

  • Days of phone tag

Calls get missed and rebooked. Good applicants take another offer while you wait.

  • A different bar every time

Each interviewer asks their own questions, so two yes votes rarely mean the same thing.

Questions

Fair questions
before you start.

Will candidates mind talking to an AI first?
Calls are short and only in the hours you set, and the recruiter can read the full transcript.
Does this replace my interviewers?
No. It takes the first rounds off their plate. Your team still meets the shortlist and makes every decision.
How do you know the code is theirs?
The result comes from hidden tests the candidate never sees, run on what they hand in. You also see every test run they made on the way. In the final round, the expert walks through that code with them.
Can I use one step without the others?
Yes. Run the coding round on candidates you found elsewhere, or book an expert for a final round only.
What is live today, and what is early access?
Vira's phone screen is live in Dial. Mock interviews can be booked now. The coding round and expert interviews are in early access with a small group of founding companies.
What does it cost?
Mock interview prices are on the mock interviews page. For the coding round and expert interviews, we agree pricing with each founding company before the first round; ask us.
Do candidates need an account?
No. Candidates open the link a company sends them. Booking a mock interview only needs an email address.
